Why does my red ear slider not eat bright coloured goldfish?
THat is weird. My res only ate the one with white body, but not the brighter coloured ones. Am i just being paranoid or is this how they select their prey?

http://turtlesrock.freeforums.org/index.php is a good resource. I agree that goldfish are not a good fish to feed your turtle. Rosie reds and guppies are a better food source.

You shouldn’t be feeding goldfish at all- they are too high in fat. Minnows from a bait shop are better.
Earthworms and insects are also good choices.
