Where should I keep my small goldfish while my new aquarium is getting set up?
I’m afraid to leave them in a bowl because there’s no water filter, and I think they’ll die. I know I’m not supposed to put them in a new tank until 24 hrs have passed, but I don’t know what to do with them. Help!

go ahead and put them into the tank as long as the temp is where you want it.
Better than keeping it in a bowl.
get a thermometer and get the water to room temperature then let his container float in the new tank to make sure they are equal. then slowly add the tank water to his bowl so he can get use to it. after 30 min to a hour you can put him in.

Get a smaller tank, and put some of the gravel from old tank in it, plus some of the filter sections, to put in a small filter, to get the water cycled. Put your goldfish in the smaller tank, in a day or two after you have checked for ammonia, nitrites and nitrates in the small tank. Also, put a Bubbler in the small new tank. You can use this small tank as a Hospital tank, to treat sick or injured fish at a later date, so you didn’t buy it for nothing.
