whats the best fish friend?

what is the best and/or cutest fish i can put with a fantail and lionhead goldfish??? and i have snails in my tank is that o,k or must i try a catfish?? thanks

    Fancy Goldfish are best with other Fancy Goldfish of similar shape only.

    Plecos/Catfish are mostly tropical and suckermouth fish like Plecos are known to turn around and suck on the side of Goldfish leaving them open to bacterial infections and parasites! Not advisable at all.

    Make sure you have a very large tank as Goldfish are very messy fish. For fancies preferably 20 US gallons for the first fish, 10 US gallons per fish thereafter.

    i guess its ok to have a cat fish, but be sure to get it as a baby or whatever, so it doesnt eat your gold fish. big fish + small fish isnt good

    Best tankmates for fancy goldfish is other fancy goldfish.

    Technically there are other fish that your could keep, but they complicate things more than just getting a different sort of goldfish.

    Bristle nose catfish!

    there so adorable there like identicle to pleco’s.

    or maybe albino catfish they have long white bodys and orange fin’s :)

    but becareful about the temperature differences.

    I fell in love with Bala Sharks, they are really calm animals. But, they do get to 10-15 inches long. I like Pectra Catfish too, they are very pretty and love to swim.
