I recently bought an African dwaf frog, an albino dwarf frog, a lionhead and black moor, all from the same tank (+ petstore). At home, I have two adf’s I’ve had for six years (they’ve survived numerous hungry cat attempts, escaping when I was cleaning their tank, etc.) and I did not want to introduce [...]

My goldfish has been in this 1 gallon bowl for about 3 weeks. He has been doing fine until last night after the 50% water change he started to stay at the bottom and seems to have a problem swimming up to leaving the ground. I am going to get a 10 gallon tank on [...]

Hi,
I’ve been keeping 4 goldfish (1 which is bigger and kinda of a bully) in an outdoor pond with lilies with a pump and filter system. I plan to bring them inside. They survived last winter when the prior owners left them there. What do I need? How big of [...]

It bubbled up for a couple of days, then sort of deflated, leaving the thin film. Any suggestions on what it could be?

A couple of days ago I bought my daughter 2 fantail goldfish. When I got them home and adjusted them to the water in the water in our tank. Once in the tank I noticed something underneath one of the underside fins. I thought it was some kind of ICK. So I treated the tank. [...]

I have 3 goldfish and they just laid eggs. We put the eggs into a separate tank and about a couple of days later, we saw some ‘baby goldfish’ hatch out. We now have about 10+ in this tank but we want to find a way to clear out all the unhatched eggs. Does anyone [...]

First I need to even know if they are actually goldfish. They are slender and long and have pointed tails while most goldfish I see seem to be fat. I would put up a picture of my fish however I can not transfer any photos onto this computer so instead I made a drawing. http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i201/omfgchicken/chopin_and_allegretto_fishes.png
Also, [...]

Hi,
I have a 10 gallon tank with two regular goldfish and two fantail goldfish. A couple of days ago, one of the fantail ones began staying only at the bottom of the tank and not moving, except for food. It has been doing that ever since. The tank is a year old, and I’ve never [...]
