Is this food good for an oranda goldfish?
Staple Diet: Hikari Goldfish Pellets

Should I get the "Lionhead" pellets because they sink to the bottom? Do orandas like to eat off the bottom of the tank or do they prefer the floating pellets? Which is better for them, floating or sinking pellets?
Supplement: San Francisco Bay Brand Goldfish Frozen Diet

And I’m not sure what else they might need? Do they need blood worms, brine shrimp, etc.? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The most important thing is to make sure you soak foods before you feed them. Goldfish tend to gobble food so quickly that it hasn’t soaked up any water yet and then it swells in their stomachs and can cause bloating and swim bladder issues.
You know that one goldfish needs about 20 gallons of water and each additional fish needs 10 more gallons.

Both foods are fine, and Hikari is one of the best and oldest brand in the market. That is why it is a bit pricey. Sinking would be better, when goldfish eat flakes from the surface, they breathe in air. And the air over time builds up and gives the goldfish air bubble syndrome. There belly blows up, and the fish has harder time swimming and sometimes swims upside due to its buoyancy unable to turnover.
You can feed bloodworms as well.

Hiraki is a great brand I’ve been feeding my Betta nothing but that brand as a staple for my Betta and I will never switch. I’ve also heard that their goldfish food is of similar quality. It’s always best to soak the pellets for a minute or so before you feed them to your fish to prevent them gulping air with their food this prevents swimbladder problems. Hiraki also does an Oranda type food though unless you want your fish to have a huge wen I would just use the staple. The supplementry diet sounds great too!
Blood worms can increase your fishes colour and activity level. Also fresh veggies keep your fish "regular" and mix up his diet a little more.
Frozen hulled peas, cucumber and lettuce are great!
Hope i could help!
