I have a bubble eyed goldfish with popped eye sacs?
He is acting just fine, but I am really worried about him. He is now isolated and has been for a week, but his sacs have not re-inflated and where they were is now black. I have treated the water with Melafix and his fins all have a white edging like fin rot. Please help……I am stressing out……

If he is in a quarantine tank, the ammonia levels are probably high and causing his immune system to lower further–since a separate tank would not have beneficial bacteria in there. The compromised immune system leads to bacterial infections like fin rot. The blackened eye sac further leads me to believe it may be ammonia levels, since ammonia burns appear blackish.
When quarantining a fish, you have to do major partial water changes very frequently to remedy this disadvantage. Keep treating him with melafix and change half the tank every other day to keep waste levels as low as possible.
