how do you teach a oldfish to swim into your hand and play in your hand and let you touch it and stuff?
how do you make a goldfish like you a lot and know that you are it owner?
help! im getting a goldfish in a while (a month or 2) and i want him to do that. help! hes going to be a black moore a bubble eye or a ryukin or a red cap oranda (probably a ryukin or oranda) HELP! i really want him to do this!

You should never touch a fish with your hand. They have a protective slime coat on them that rubs off when you touch them leaving them open to infection. Also I hope you know that one fancy goldfish requires a minimum of a 20 gallon tank with really good filtration. If you want a pet that you can play with then consider something other than fish.

you should get him used to being around you and stick your hand in the water - but just leave it there, don’t chase it. fish are curious. leave ur hand w/o moving it in the water for a while untill your fish gets used to you and swims up to you. keep doing this untill the fish is real comfortable. then you can start to move ur hand around and play with it. if u have the sinking pelets for fish food, try holding some in your hand.
goldfish tend to be a little touchy w/ people, so it might be hard.
