    Is this a trick question??? <looking around for one of those candid camera thingies> I know this is a trick question, right? No no noo, a magic trick. THat’s it, a magic trick…….or the name of a new petstore? "The Drowning Goldfish". Hmmmmmmm <scratching head>

    Wow, I sure hope this isn’t a serious question. IF it is, you have some major problems if you have a fish who does not know how to swim!! And I don’t think they sell goldfish sized swimmies!!

    Actually, fish can drown in water when conditions are poor. Nitrites can literally starve a fish of oxygen, thereby causing it to drown. You can prevent this from happening through proper tank maintenance and filtration.
