Yeah serious trouble.
I had a goldfish when i was a child and it lived for over a year.
More recently when i started buying goldfish they all died whenever my dad made steak (they were kept in the kitchen)
I can only conclude - fish are allergic to steak.
I say we must have gone through at least a dozen.
It all depends on the fish, my cousins had a goldfish for 6 years.
I don't think you're properly taking care of it then. This isn't bad luck, it's animal cruelty. Until you learn how to transition a fish to a new tank/bowl, do not get anymore.
my goldfishies problem is that they dont die. I didn't clean the fish tank for three months and even turned off the air pump for three days and I still have lots of stinking goldfish!!
One time I had this Goldfish that lasted two years. She would always eat any of the other ones I would get. After her, I can't seem to find one that stays alive. Oh, well…
lol doesnt everyone. you name them and ur all i have a goldfish! and brag to ur friends about its cool name. then one day ur mom says wow *insert pet goldfish name here* learned a new trick. then ur brother has to ruin it and says he died duhhhh. then you throw it a poor little funeral above the white porclien king. bye bye fishy
OMG!!! That happens to me too. I remember this time when I needed 2 get new water 4 my fish and the fish fell out of it's tank and was flopping on the floor, but it still lived, the same day my fish was healthy and fine then my little brother did'nt want it anymore so he threw it in the toilet and flushed it!!! The fish died when he did that.

Nope. I've had mine for years. Do you put them in glass containers with distilled water? If you use sink water, ya, they'll die.
