    No.

Koi belong in a pond - they get HUGE. They are also coolwater fish.

Angelfish are topical and require warm water.

Neither can live in the other’s water conditions - well, they might survive, but that is about it.

They are totally, completely, and utterly incompatible.

A pond for the Koi, which can get to be 2 feet long, needs to be 1200 gallons or more.

The Angelfish needs to be in a heated and filtered tank of at least 15-20 gallons.

    hrm, i think so

  3. Guppy Geek Says:

Absolutely not! Angelfish are tropical fish, meaning they need WARM water, like 76-80 degrees.

Koi, and all other types of goldfish require colder water, usually in the 60 degree range.

Not to mention, Koi get huge.

    They are NOT compatibile fish.

  4. noselessman Says:

koy fish should be in ponds, the get huge, and live forever, angels need at least five inches of water per inch, and a heater. Goldfish are extremely dirty because they have no stomaches, food literally goes in one end and out the other

  5. Pet_Lover Says:

Any goldfish can’t go with a angelfish.
Goldfish are salt water and angelfish are tropical.
Goldfish temperatures are cold and angelfish are warm.
Angelfish might nip the koi goldfish.

    sorry but no.

koi fish are in the goldfish section wich is coldwater.
and koi fish belong in a pond a tank is way to small.
    they get giant.

and angel fish are warmer water.
you could get a nice tropical fish tank with some angels and some neons and tetras and other fish though.
they will need plenty of plants/heat and a filter.
    there tank should be 15+.

koi will need a big pond as they are 1-2 feet big!
so they need lots of room to swim.

but if you mix those they will most likely all die or at least one of the types.

    good luck!!!

    BTW goldfish are fresh water.
but most fish need a little salt added to there tank.its healthier and makes them more brighter and colorful.

Koi are pond fish, they can be in aquariums when their babies or in a petstore for sale. The biggest one i’ve seen was around 11/2 feet. Angel fish are tropical fish, anyway. I have a 55gal. tank with a blue cabot Gourami and a medium Angel fish. The Gouramis are very pretty and mine get along just fine.

no. koi get around 3 feet long, and besides, they like their temperatures much cooler than angels do.
