Can I introduce goldfish from separate bowls into one aquarium tank?

I have two fantails that live in separate bowls/tanks. Can I introduce them both to the same larger aquarium tank?

yes, they should be very happy to get away from their fishbowls. I hope it is a 30+ gallon tank w/ a great filter!

what size tank are you planning on moving them to? please remember that one single goldfish needs at least 30gals and 10 for each additional so if you want to have them together then your tank must be about 40gals. IF you have such a tank then they would really like their new home. if your goldfish are in small bowls then i would advice you to immediately put them in a bigger tank and get them a good filter.
remember***goldfish are HUGE waste producers that’s why they need so much room**
    good luck!

Yup you can put them in the same tank…make sure you have a 30G min tank with excellent filteration…..good that these fishes are moved from fishbowl in the first place

I guess the user "Really confused but alright" is not alright…please 2 goldfishes in 1G tank….thats like two people living in one coffin

Yes, it should be perfectly fine. They will probably enjoy a larger tank so that they could swim more and play. Even if something seems unusual, they’ll eventually adapt to the conditions.
