attention goldfish lovers, here’s a question 4 ya?
In your opinion, out of all the goldfish varieties, which is the most beautiful? the rumkin, the shebumkin, the common, the fantail, the comet, the koi, the pearlscale, the black moore, the bubbleeye, the lionhead, the calico. if I left any out, let me know.

Koi are a different species of fish than Goldfish, related, but not the same thing.
I prefer Shubunkins, less deformed than Fancies. (you meant Ryukin right? not rumkin?)

Did you mean ryukin and shubunkin? The koi is not a goldfish.
My personal favorite from the fancy varieties is the ryukin. Of the common varieties I like the comets best.

i love koi and bubble eyes. be careful with the bubble eyes though, *graphic story*
i put one in with my other goldfish and they got along for about 3 weeks but one day i came home to find his bubbles popped and his eyes were eaten by one of my other goldfish and he was still alive and swimming. i cried, it was very very disturbing. so yeah, careful about that.

I love Koi, but to be honest, I prefer their smaller ‘cousin,’ the Shubunkin–also known as the "Poor Man’s Koi." They don’t grow as large, which makes for easy keeping in a household aquarium. In fact, I’m using one as a starter fish to get my tank running again right now! But he’s very stupid. He keeps hitting the sides of the tank and won’t eat.

Koi isnt really a goldfish.
That would be my first then.
Actual goldfish would be calico fantail.
